Why Community Changed Everything for Me

Community has played a bigger role in my success than almost anything else.

And with the rise of AI, I believe community is about to matter even more. 🤝

For my first decade in real estate, I had no real community.  I was doing everything on my own.  I believed asking for help was a weakness. I  assumed others were holding back answers to protect themselves.

That mindset slowed me down more than I realized.

Eventually, I got frustrated with the speed of my growth and made a different decision.  I stepped into a community.

That single choice changed everything.

Once I opened up, my growth took off like a rocket. 🚀

That experience is one of the reasons I started Elite Level Mastermind with my good friend Dave about four years ago.  The people in that room have grown together in powerful ways, financially, mentally, and personally.

One of our original members, Bob, summed it up perfectly when he said, 

"We are positive peer pressure for each other."

That's exactly what it feels like.

I light up in those rooms.  Watching people pour their experience into each other, challenge each other, and support each other reminds me that growth does not follow the math we were taught in school.  

Sometimes, 1 + 1 really does equal 4. ✨

I didn't believe that either until I experience it.

So why is 2026 the year of community for me?

Throughout 2025, I kept asking myself what was next.  Where my energy was puling me.  What felt aligned with my vision.

Every path led back to community.

At the same time, I kept thinking about AI and where it's taking us. The more digital the world becomes, the more human connection matters.  

Simon Sinek has talked about this modern paradox.  We are more connected digitally than ever, yet people are lonelier, more stressed, and more disconnected.

That resonates deeply with what I'm seeing.

This is why one of my primary focuses right now is pouring into Elite Level Mastermind. We recently opened a second group, and there are a few seats available.
