π What Actually Moves the Needle for Me

Do You Actually Use Your Goals? πͺ¨
Let’s talk goals!
Most people make them once a year and barely look at them past January π
Sound familiar?
I’ve found yearly goals are helpful…
But quarterly goals? That’s what actually moves the needle π
I use a version of the EOS system to set mine.
(If you’re not familiar, EOS calls goals “Rocks”)
We just kicked off a new quarter , yes, I run on my own timeline world π
And here’s how we did it:
β
We reviewed each Rock as a team
β
We challenged any that didn’t feel right
β
Then we locked them in, with names attached
Each week, everyone gives a quick update on their Rocks (usually a % done)
And if someone stalls for a few weeks in a row?
We shine a light on it. Not to shame, but to remind ourselves:
This might not get done unless we pivot or refocus.
Our Rocks are meant to solve real issues in the business,
Not just keep us busy with fluff.
So I’m curious…
π How often do you set goals?
π And how do you hold yourself or your team accountable?
I’d love to hear how others are doing this,
send me a message by email or social media!
Adrian’s Takeaway:
Yearly goals create vision. Quarterly goals create momentum.
